Kazumichi Grime (Tobias Kazumichi Grime) is a sound / visual artist
residing in Sydney, Australia exploring the fields of electronic sound
and its performance, art direction for TVC and for film, and interactive
screen based projects.
Grime
has been recording and releasing experimental sound projects in various
formats since 1994. He performs and records as a solo artist and has
also collaborated on projects with artists in Australia and internationally
on various sound projects.
Kazumichi Grime holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from College of Fine Arts,
UNSW majoring in photo-media and sound and a MDes (Masters in Design,
Digital Media) from University of Western Sydney. Grime works commercially
as an Art Director in film and TVC at Animal
Logic in Sydney's FoxStudios. He has also worked extensively in
the fields of web design, advertising and publishing prior to Animal
Logic and is also a casual lecturer and final year/Honors assessor at
universities.
